      Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to come to your office?

No! We're a mobile notary service. We come to an agreed-upon location within our service area.

      What identification do I need?

Proper identification is generally required. Texas law provides specific requirements for satisfactory evidence of identity, and certain circumstances may allow the use of a credible witness.

Can you tell me which notarial certificate I need?

A Texas notary who is not an attorney cannot choose a notarial certificate for you because doing so may constitute the unauthorized practice of law. Your attorney, lender, title company, or the organization requesting the document can help determine what certificate is required.

Can you prepare my legal documents?

No. A notary cannot prepare, draft, select, or give advice concerning legal documents. If you need help preparing a legal document, please contact a qualified attorney.

Can you notarize documents at a hospital or nursing facility?

Mobile appointments may be available at hospitals, assisted-living facilities, and other locations, provided the signer meets all legal requirements and is personally present and able to participate in the notarization.

      Do you offer same-day appointments?

Same-day appointments may be available depending on scheduling and location. Contact us to check availability.

How much does a notary cost?

Texas law establishes maximum fees for authorized notarial acts. Additional mobile/travel charges must be handled in accordance with applicable Texas law. We will provide applicable fees before your appointment. Texas also requires notaries to keep their authorized fees posted and to itemize or be prepared to itemize fees charged.

      Important Information

A Texas notary is not an attorney and cannot provide legal advice, prepare legal documents, or determine which legal document or notarial certificate you need.

Please contact your attorney, lender, title company, or the organization requesting your document if you have questions about the legal document itself.

We reserve the right to decline a notarization when the requirements of Texas law have not been met.
